The Department of Lithuanian Studies offers three Lithuanian language online courses, the semester course, evening course, and free mover course starting in February 2021. Students can sign up by filling out the application form.
Classes will be held via Microsoft Teams. Our instructors strongly recommend using a desktop version instead of the corresponding mobile or on-line versions because the former includes way more options than the latter two. If MS Teams is already installed on your system, keep it upgraded to its latest version. Language instructors may upload home assignments or other tasks on the Teams. Information on the requirements for MS Teams is available here. After students have made the payment for the course, they will be invited to join one of the course teams.
It is presumed that by taking the course students consent to switching on their camera during class activities since the course is interactive. In addition, headphones with a mic are advised to be used during classes as, from our experience, background noise can be really annoying and disturbing for both instructors and fellow students.
The timetables of the semester course, evening course, and free mover course are available here.
