Application deadlines­

  • June 1 - Autumn semester
  • November 15 - Spring semester

The deadline for free moving students who need visa for entering Lithuania is:

  • May 1 - Autumn semester
  • October 1 - Spring semester

After admission students are provided with the Letter of Acceptance and the information package which is uaually sent to the student's permanent address within 3 weeks after the receipt of application documents, but not earlier than  May 15 (Autumn semester) and October 15 (spring semester).

State financing of part-time studies or Scientific activities - Funding may be granted for the following activities:Studies/scientific internship; Lithuanian language studies (Baltic studies); Summer courses in Lithuanian language and culture (from three weeks to one month). More information

  • Exchange through bilateral agreements

Students currently studying at one of the Vilnius University international partner institutions may apply to become bilateral exchange students for one or two semesters.

To find out if you may apply to become a bilateral student at Vilnius University, you must contact the international office at your home institution. You have to apply through your home university. Local procedures and deadlines will vary according to each institution.
