  3. When you pass the additional subject that you have chosen instead of the debt, please contact us to delete the debt from the previous subject.

Applications for repeating the courses or taking them externally should be filled out via VU information system.

Applications for repeating the subject are accepted until the end of the first month of semester, applications for taking subjects externally can be filled out all throughout the year for the ongoing semester or the next upcoming semester.

If you take an academic leave or suspend your studies, you can pass your debts with a free listener's agreement.

Missing credits after the mobility period

Students who return to VU after their mobility with less than 30 credits, must compensate the missing credits. The compensation of this deficiency depends on the number of credits missing:

• If the lack is less than 15 credits, you can continue your studies at VU on your return, but you should register for more courses than the number of credits in your programme of study in order to make up for the lack of credits.

• If the lack is more than 15 cr., you must apply for a suspension of your studies upon your return. If you suspend your studies, you would be placed on a free listener's agreement and choose to study as many subjects as necessary to reduce the lack of credits to at least 15 cr. You can continue your studies after the suspension.
