Centre for Foreign Languages, located in the historical architectural ensemble of Vilnius University in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, is a team of professional, experienced and well-qualified professors at the Faculty of Philology.
For more than 30 years, we have been teaching various languages (English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Russian, etc.) as well as specialized courses (Business English, Medical English, English Public Speaking and others).
Our Mission
Our main mission is to help to learn or improve your language skills, free your learning potential, and enable possibilities to get acquainted with other cultures and communities through language.
Our Learners
We are happy to welcome around 300 learners to our courses yearly. We work with members of the Vilnius University community as well as with inhabitants of Vilnius and other cities.
How do we teach the language?
- We teach in separate groups for beginners and advanced learners.
- Syllabi and materials for the courses are adjusted according to the common language level of the whole group.
- We share our language knowledge, focusing on improving speaking, reading, listening and writing skills.
- After finishing the course, learners are awarded a certificate about passing the course.
