Minor studies is an optional part of BA study programmes. The volume of minor studies is 60 ECTS credits. Total student's workload of one semester is 30 ECTS credits. In 3rd-6th semesters minor studies take up 10 credits per semester and in 7th semester there are 20 credits designated for minor studies. The rest of the credits must be chosen in major studies. Students who choose a minor study programme study less electives in their major.
The posibility to study a minor study progamme is indicated in the plan of major studies. Students register for minor studies in the second semester of their first year. The registration is open from March 31 until May 31.

Who can choose Minor studies?
It is possible to choose Minor studies for all students at the Faculty of Philology except those whose major study programme covers two languages and cultures: English and Another Foreign Language.

Minor studies begin from the 3rd semester and end in the 7th semester.
