Conferences

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation (DGT) is a long-standing partner of the Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies in organizing various events (conferences, seminars, school events) to disseminate information about the translation profession. International conferences co-organized under the Translating Europe program are particularly useful and engaging for many participants (teachers, students, translators). We were one of the first European universities to start organizing these events.

Launched in 2014, the European Commission's Translating Europe program brings together a wide range of translation institutions: universities (especially those in the European Master's in Translation (EMT) network), businesses, national language institutes, public sector translation services and professional bodies. associations. It aims to bring together the public and private sectors, increase the visibility of the translation profession and exchange good practice.
